Hello all!  I hope everyone is enjoying their Superbowl Sunday with their family and friends!!!  Be safe out there!  I just had a GREAT weekend with my assistant who moved last August.  It has been wonderful to keep her on board with the move…..but it has been sad having her soooo far away!   We met up in Orlando on Friday and had two days to catch up….shopping, eating, drinking, movies, a piano bar….need I say more???    I managed to twist her arm to take some headshots so everyone can finally put a face to her name!  She has worked with me for two and a half years, so many of you already “know” her.   She is AWESOME and I just love having her working with me through this journey.

We had alot of fun doing these, and there are more to come.  She was a huge sport to put up with me practicing with window light in our home for the  weekend and we were FREEZING when we went outside!!!  Thank you to Kristin for ALL that you do!!!!!  I APPRECIATE YOU and THANK YOU for such a fun weekend away!    I already look forward to getting our kids together in June!

This BABY needs a break!

February 3, 2010

Well….I am really referring to ME – but thought I would post a couple images of this sweet baby in a recent session.  Isn’t she sweet!  I am taking a much needed break to spend the weekend in Orlando with my assistant!  A GIRLS WEEKEND!  WAHOO!  I have not gotten to see Kristin since she moved last August, so it will be fun to catch up with her, even though we communicate almost daily…..it will be great to actually see her!   Joining us is a friend from Delray…..I am counting the hours until we leave!

I have had a baby boom in studio lately!  This little one was the sixth newborn in one week that has been in to see me!  Congratulations to all my baby boomers!  I hope everyone has a great weekend! – Stacy

I have ALOT of adorable clients and I have favorites from every session that I would love to post on the blog…there are just not enough hours in the day to keep up with it.  Every so often I come across and image that I just can’t resist sharing with those that follow this blog!  Isn’t this the cutest face EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!  VERY typical of the one year stage and I am so excited that we captured this one for mommy’s album.  The expression is priceless and what one year old doesn’t like a big bowl of cheerios???  SO stinkin’ cute.  Thank you A for bringing your little one to me over the last year, it has been a treat to work with you and your family.

THANKS KANSAS CITY!

January 22, 2010

I have been pretty lucky to have some amazing trips to Kansas City to shoot for some great families….I have to say, this trip was a bit of a challenge!  Between missing my flight there and the delayed flight home with yucky weather and equipment that malfunctioned – it was a test of my patience!   I got through it and ended up having alot of fun with some old friends and one family I had not seen in 10 years!  I hope to get to all the sessions this weekend….if you had a session with me while I was in KC a couple weeks ago….keep checking back!  Thanks again to all that participated!  I am already looking at dates to come back in MAY when it will be WARM!!!  Here were some of my personal favorites from the trip.

We are ALWAYS having lots of fun when you come in for a session!  I am already thinking about Valentine’s Day and trying to come up with a fun idea for quick mini sessions.  Anyone who emails me a unique idea will receive $5 off your next session!    The idea that I choose for mini sessions for Valentine’s Day theme will get a free 8×10 with their session!  Valentine’s mini sessions will be announced soon!

Of course, I am missing beautiful images on the walls, but it is done!  I am so excited to have a face lift to my work space…

This mama is due any day!  She called me just a couple days ago and requested maternity portraits.  When I found out that she was already 37 weeks along – I HAD to invite her into the studio this week!  So, as much as I had intended on taking a two week break during the holidays, I still ended up shooting about 7-8 sessions….but I did take a break.  This is it.  The final portrait of 2009.  I am thankful for what 2009 turned out to be and I am excited to see what 2010 will bring.  Happy New Year to everyone and Happy New Baby to this family.  Best Wishes for the new year, Stacy
