It never seems to amaze me how much love I get when coming back to Kansas City to work. These little cutie pies give so many hugs and smiles that I just love coming back! It is so great that I can see old friends and make new ones while doing what I love. Next trip is planned for the end of January, so I hope you can share this with your friends who might need updated portraits while I am there. Thank you again KC for another successful trip. One of the many things I love about my job is that I get to have the flexibility to take off with my girls during the summer. This summer we went to see long time friends who moved to Tennessee over two years ago. Read on...we had a fun four days. Thanks to my friend Wendy, I have this great photo to remember the trip of me and my girls.

This sits just outside the front door of our good friends home. It certainly rang true to our stay, they welcomed us with open arms and it was great spending quality time with them in their new log home. What a beautiful place!

We got to go see ALOT of animals while we were there...Roosters, donkey's, horses, goats, cats, dogs, chickens, and the list goes on...

Hanna and Abby got to experience a chicken house at their Grandpa's house in Kansas in June, this was alot of fun for them to see chickens here too. Abby was a riot trying to hold them!

What a sweet image of Hanna and her BFF Karley. We met Karley when Hanna was only about 2 years old when we moved to S. Florida....she misses her dearly and talks about her often.

A state park not far away from where we stayed. Wendy was really gracious to show us around. Here are my two little hikers....

Of course....I had to fit in a photo shoot to treasure this special time. The kids were having so much fun and it really shows in my favorite images. I even got Abby to play along....she is getting much easier to capture w/ a smile :)

One last big HUG before we had to fly home the next morning...we had such a great time. A BIG THANK YOU to Wendy and her family for taking time out of their busy schedules to allow us to have a little summer fun.

WOW...I have to take a moment to thank Kristin for such a job well done! She has been working as my creative assistant for just about a year now and I really don't know how I would get things done w/o her at this point! I found it appropriate to thank her in this way because I had to share the sneak peek of her daughter on my blog. I can't believe she is already a year old and big brother is growing so fast too! Thank you again, Kristin, for everything that you do. You have become a big asset my success and a great friend too. HAPPY BIRTHDAY "L" and Happy Anniversary Kristin!
